Hi there.
I’m Sandy, and I believe we all deserve to live a life we love.
If you’re like me, you were raised with the idea that success equals happiness, only to find yourself endlessly striving for achievement and wondering when the happiness part kicks in.
We rush and work and hustle and grind, but instead of getting happier, we end up exhausted and burnt out, thinking, “There’s got to be more to life than this.”
This is where I found myself even at the pinnacle of my journalism career as an entertainment writer in Hollywood. I’d worked so hard to get there, skipping sleep and time with loved ones, thinking that eventually I’d get things dialed in and have time to relax. But that time never came and would never come so long as I kept work at the center of everything.
I remember coming home late one night from a shiny event (maybe a Kardashians premiere) and crying, thinking, “I’m just so far away from myself.”
This sent me on a quest, not just for happiness but for something deeper, a level of personal peace that would withstand the daily demands of my work or my life. A centeredness. An ease. A fundamental okayness with myself and reality.
I read a ton about happiness, the brain, good habits and well-being. I shifted my journalism beat from entertainment to health and became a national board certified health & wellness coach. I even went back to school for a master’s degree in public health.
The solution I discovered was cultivating a mindset based on fulfillment rather than achievement, one that starts with embracing our essential enough-ness and blooming from there.
When you’re already enough, there’s no striving necessary. Life becomes a rich experience of wonder and discovery.
How we think about ourselves and our lives makes all the difference in how we feel — the boundaries we set, the choices we make, the dreams we have and the goals we achieve.
This transformation feels magical but it’s 100% practical and accessible. It’s available to you right now. If a neurotic overachiever like me can do it, you for sure can, too.
It’s such a blessed relief to be yourself, love yourself and truly enjoy your “one wild and precious life.”
Now it’s your turn.
